Trumbull Racquet CLUB takes your health & safety seriously

**

Since the Spring, we have consulted closely with health officials and medical experts by following their guidance to ensure our collective health and well-being at the club. The safety upgrades we have made are listed below.

Given the rising infection rate locally, we are taking necessary precautions to try and curb the spread of Covid while still being able to enjoy tennis safely.

Effective Thursday, November 26:

  • All players are required to wear face coverings on-court.

    • The exceptions are for singles including UTR events, and private lessons.

  • All coaches will be wearing face coverings on-court at all times.

As we continue to adapt our policies around these challenging times, we thank you for your continued patience and understanding.

Trumbull Racquet Club has had a different look due to the steps we have taken for COVID-19 in keeping with our commitment to player and staff safety. The changes we have made are as follows:

Club Safety Protocols —

  • Significant sanitizing of our HVAC system (coils, pans and cabinets) with Nu-Calgon Evap-Fresh Cleaner

    • Evap-Fresh has demonstrated effectiveness against viruses similar to 2019-nCov.

    • It is registered for use on HVAC systems and is also listed on the EPA's Registered Antimicrobial Products for Use Against Novel Coronavirus SARS-CoV-2, the cause of COVID-19

    • Complete HVAC filter replacement with High Capacity pleated air filters

  • Facility cleaning with Clorox® Total 360®

    • Kills 99.9% of bacteria in 5 seconds

    • Kills cold and flu viruses, MRSA and norovirus in 2 minutes or less

  • Plexiglass dividers between the front desk staff and players

  • Traffic flow/pattern will be altered to ensure foot traffic is spread out and in a uniform direction

  • No congregating in the lobby

  • PPE stations including extra hand sanitizer, masks and gloves
